The goldan times

In the golden times of old,

Life was simpler, or so we're told.
The pace was slower, the days were longer,
And people were kinder, their hearts were stronger.

Families gathered around the hearth,
Telling stories of the day's worth.
Children played outside in the sun,
And life was full of love and fun.

The fields were lush with crops and grain,
And the farmers worked hard, through sun and rain.
They took pride in their land and their toil,
And their harvests fed the hungry soil.

The streets were safe, the air was clean,
And people knew what it meant to be seen.
Neighbors helped each other out,
And no one ever had to shout.

The world was a smaller place back then,
And people knew how to be friends.
They shared their joys and their sorrows,
And looked out for each other, today and tomorrow.

The golden times were not without strife,
But people knew how to deal with life.
They faced their challenges with grace,
And never lost sight of their faith and their place.

The golden times may be gone,
But their spirit still lingers on.
We can learn from those who came before,
And make our world a better place, forevermore.

So let us cherish the golden times,
And hold onto their memories and rhymes.
For they remind us of what truly matters,
Love, kindness, and the human spirit that never shatters.
